  • What Is A "weft"?

Hi, I visited Salons of America and I saw a picture of a Weft and I'm unsure as to what it is. it was under "natural styles". And I don't know if its a weave or what, but it looks nice as a styling option . I'm not at all trying to fry rake or perm my hair, I don't want to damage it. Here's the link:

A weft is a track of weave, basically, or more specifically, the track of fabric that the weaving hair is anchored to. I think the pic that you linked was just to show an example of a hairstyle that can be achieved with wefts...not an example of an actual weft itself.
