  • What Do You Do At Night?

I have read that it is important to cover your hair/locs at night when you go to sleep. What do you do? Anyone not covering their locs?

I sleep on satin. I donàƒ¢â‚¬â„¢t like sleeping with caps on my head.

My honey says no ant-cha-mama in the bed with him so nothing for me. I would forget anyway.

A large triangle shaped hairnet that I tie on everynight.. Keeps these lil babies in check at night or I wake up lookin like "who did it and what for and don't do it again"

Nothing alot of the time lately I have been trying to remember a satin scarf I am becoming attached to the tamed look in the am. Since I shower at night this works great for me.

A satin bonnet. I hate tying things on my head when going to bed by feeling the tye-knots.

    ...

    Aint that the truth...

Satin scarf. I was not good about tucking my nape locs in the beginning. My locs are only 1.5 months old and I *already* nearly destroyed on of the back ones trying to pick out lint. It accumulates fast if you are not careful <_<

i used to wrap my hair with a scarf, but it comes off every night, so i don't wrap my hair with anything. i haven't had any problems with lint so far, and i'm in month 14.....

I use my Loc Soc as much as possible and not only for the lint issues but because my locs are noticeably different when I don't wear it at night.

I have satin bonnets in s, m & l. I've given up on them as they never stay put throughh the night.

I sleep on satin pillow cases.

i definitely sleep w/my locs covered w/a bonnet, satin scarf, of lb soc. i refuse to lay my head down anywhere w/o being covered, but i did this as a permie or when i rocked the braids or twists.

most of the time i sleep with a silk scarf. but some nights i get hot and have to pull it off.
if i end up taking it off in the middle of the night i just lay it on my pillow and sleep on it instead.

I don't either, but I will start as soon as can get my husband to send it to me. Other than that I plna on ordering some satin sheets and pillow cases in the next day or two so I don't have to tie my hair up anyway.
