  • Qhemet's Amla & Olive Heavy Cream

I love mixing my own products. I've never tried Qhemets heavy cream but I've read so many rave reviews. I just bought some amla and few other ingredients so I may try to whip something up and see how my hair likes it.

Has anyone tried to replicate the hydrating honey balm?

I finally tried whipping up a batch of this last night. Why it took me a year, the world may never know. It turned out pretty good. I've never used Qhem's so I'm not sure what the texture should be but my ended up kinda like a pudding, like someone else mentioned. Here are a couple pics.

Please ignore the air bubbles. I had just finished mixing.

This gives an idea of the consistency.

This is a fresh braid done using the cream.

I'll have to wait a couple days for my hair to tell me how it really feels about it. I'll be back with an update.

Thanks CaramelDuchess. I added a few drops of patchouli eo for fragrance. Prior to adding the patchouli, the olive oil was the most prominent scent. So far, my hair is liking it. I layered it with my shealoe mixture to re-braid and bantu my hair.

didnt really do much for me --- i ADORE Qhemet Biologics Burdock root creme --- makes my hair super duper soft and manageable -- the alma and olive kinda just sit on it -- same thing with the coconut olive detangler -- didnt too much for the price I paid and what I expected. Im awaiting a delivery as we speak for the Burdock creme -- can't wait!!!
