  • Pre-shampoo Soak....the Results Are In!

Please excuse me as i ramble on but i just have to tell someone this story!!! I did a 2 part dye job to my locs to get it as red as i could get it without looking like a clown. So on part 1and day 1 of the dye job i bleached my locs to a bright blond orangish color. Part 2 and day 2 i then applied 3 boxes of creme of nature intense red. I then followed directions and washed and washed until the water ran clear. OK so all this happened 1 1/2 months ago.

This brings me to ...well today, lol!!! I decided to wash my hair again (as i just washed it on Saturday), just because, and i decided to use a method another poster uses, which is do a pre shampoo on dry hair. So i took my spray bottle, filled it 3/4 of the way with water and about 20 drops of peppermint EO, and about 2 full squirtr of kiwi lime VO5 clarifying shampoo. I sprayed the mixture on my scalp and locs....on dry hair!!! This is something new to me because everytime i have EVER shampooed my hair it has been wet!!! LOL So ANYWAYZ...i let it soak for about 1 1/2 hours and then rinsed. Well low and behold as i was rinsing...the water was BLOOD RED!!! LOLOLOL Apparently when i let the poo soak, the dye that was embedded in my locs surfaced!!!!!

Sooooooooooooooooo if anyone would like to get their locs super duper clean, from the inside out, DO A PRE SHAMPOO SOAK!!!!!

....and thats all i had to say, LOLOLOL!!!

Wow! I plan on washing my hair soon and thought about just simply shampooing my hair and letting the lather sit on my hair for a few minutes before rinsing it out. I'll have to try this....with the Tajia Waleed product, or with just some diluted shampoo/water solution.....thanks!!!!
