  • ok i need some help.

     

    i have been a proud natural for almost three years, and have a lot of hair. however, it has started thinning at the top. i do wear a puff a lot, but started wearing twists more often once i noticed the thinning. i'm not sure what to do. should i cut it and start over? please help a sista out.

    I wouldn't suggest cutting it short just cause of thinning. You can try the rosemary spritz and massage your scalp to stimulate growth. I think alternating your hairstyles should help improve the thinning as well.

    Try the Surge product. I'm trying it now but a lot of women swear by it. So you might want to look into that.Peace.

    I wouldnt cut it just yet. like Kriskelli50 and nx2brat said, try surge or rosemary spritzes to encourage growth in the thin spots. also stay away from tight styles

    thanks to all for your help! i'm just going to wear a plain old fashioned fro for a while and then do twists. i really don't want to cut my hair. it's so thick and bushy and i love it! i love this site! i don't know what i'd do without it.
