    Had to add these links:Kellywww.goodplasticsurgery.com/archives/004974.htmlwww.goodplasticsurgery.com/archives/005386.html726612...

I think these pics all look the same, they don't show anything at all. Not saying that they didn't have any work done in the future, but you'd have to stare until your eyes crossed to get any validation. _eek13:

Look in the mirror, or take a pic. Smile, then stop. Your nose will take on a different shape. I have pics in my album like that, and I haven't had a nose job. Have I??

ITA. Many of those pics look just like different angles and poses.

I want some fat or collagen injected into my top lip, it disappears when I smile.

Should I care more about this? I don't know I feel like there are more important issues in our community than what people want to do to their own faces. Whether everyone who chooses to have surgery are victims of self hatred i'm not totally sure.

I see she had a bridge created in her nose.......

My father used to always tease me about having "no nose bridge." I swear, until those plastic surgery sites came along, I didn't even know what a nose bridge was. My nose looked normal to me. But then, I had one of those parents. Down your kids about everything to make them tougher for the real world _eek13: Still not so sure about that parenting technique <_<

    Sorry off topic LOL

I can't even fathom how/why one would get her lips...

From what I read on that site, she had her bottom lip reduced to be more proportioned with the top one.

For some reason..I think black people look weird when they get nose jobs..I don't know what it is..but it just doesn't look right..maybe it is because they have these other "ethnic" features..then they have this little nose that just doesn't fit...like the Jackson family..and Lil' Kim..who by the way has gone WAY to far with this plastic surgery thing..she looks awful now.

What other people do to their faces don't really affect me personally to the point where I am searching for "signs" that they have had one, but I do think it is an issue in our society that strongly effects people with low self esteem and young people who are impressionable. This society is obsessed with beauty and perfection. The bar is being raised on both constantly, it seems to be more attractive when it is deemed unattainable. Some people are suffering emotionally, disfiguring themselves or mistreating others based on these standards. If these people who are already considered cute and beautiful still feel the need to alter what they have what does that say to people who are being teased for what they look like? Not that celeyajoks125ies are not perfect but that they need to alter their look to obtain the one that these celeyajoks125ies
have where they all look just alike and nobody can be different and still be considered beautiful or worthy. It also overshadows the importance of individuality and inner beauty.

As an individual, we all may have at one point in our lives, seen something about ourselves physically that we may have wanted changed. Some of us will go to the extreme of having surgery and some may not. Stephanie Mills is my cousin and when she was younger she had gotten to a certain weight that she was unhappy with. Over time she was able to lose the weight and feel better about herself. I don't think it is fair to categorize people just b/c they have done the same things i.e. get a nose job. They may have done the same things, but for different reasons or another.
