    Hello all!

I think i want to implement the method of no-pooing into my haircare regime whist transistioning because my hair is very thick and i want to keep hair handling to a minimum, i just wondered if anyone could help me with an effective method of pre-conditioning(essential oils etc.) and a really good moisturising conditioner that i could you to no-poo my hair, as it can get really dry.

    I really appreciate all advice

I don't pre-condition but I use Pantene Hydrating curls and Suave milk and honey for my conditioner washes.

I dont pre-condition (i mean whats the point, you are washing your hair with conditioner anyway... if you were to pre-condition, you might as well do a deep condition instead of a no poo)

i use alot of suave and vo5 conditioners but when i really need to warsh it wash it, i use pantine prov for relaxed and naturals.

I'd say try a few conditioners and pick which one u felt did the best job because u dnt wanna end up buying loads of products that will not work for u but others had fabulous results with.

Very true.. that is why i use sauve and VO5 (cheeeeeeep but they work) Also look out for products with alcohol in them. that will try you out even more.

Thank you for your help everyone. I was obviously misinformed about the pre-conditioning thing. Because i live in london, i cant get hold of suave products (which i heard a lot about of good things about) or the pantene range for relaxed and naturals, could anyone suggest any possible alternatives that i may be able to purchase over here?

    Thanks

No problem. You just have to try things and see what works for you. I always tell people start with the VO5 and suave to see if it works because they are so cheap but they work so well for alot of people. (i love my honey and milk)
