    OK so I am gonna bite the bullet! Anyone wanna start with me on June 11, 2008? I have this opportunity and I'm not passing it up. That is the day after I get back from taking my daughter to chicago for the summer. June 11 gives us time to get everything we need to have and be good and ready. I just ordered my salt tonight. I could have surley found a better deal that what I did, but what the heck!

    I have everything except the maple syrup, can't seems to find grade b. So can organic maple syrup
    be used?

    Check at Trader Joe's (I kow they have it there!), Whole <strike>Paycheck</strike> Foods or on the MC website. There is a link for it somewhere in this thread. Also, If you have an upscale grocer (In MN we have Byerlye's (sic) Lunds and Kowalski's) you may be able to find it there but it will cost more probably. The book says you can use A, B, or C grade but that B grade is the best as far as nutrition goes,

    Hey Ladies. I started yesterday. I'm doing it with my friend. Her goal is 14 dyas. Mine is 9-10 days. This is my third time at it. Each time I've increased the days..and each time it's easier. It's so mental.

    This is my second day, I didn't even wake up feeling hungry. The wierd thing today is I feel like I have to cough or blow my nose constantly.

    I gotta do the salt flush..that's always the step that I miss. Usually, I use a powedered colon cleanser that I mix in with my lemonade. It has bentonite clay, charcoal, psyllium husk, flax seed and apple pectin as well. I think I'm missing something.

    i drank my lax tea tonite. i'll be here when y'all begin. its not my first. plan to at least go till the end of the month, or until i'm hungry.

    i am gonna start this thursday since i will be off for 3 days and can adjust. i did this before for like 7 days. the first few were the worst...had severe headaches...but they say that comes with the detox phase.

    I'm starting tomorrow. Technically I started today, but I had a working lunch at my new job and it was an important client so I had to eat. I'm mad cause I wasn't even craving food. Oh well. So I'm restarting tomorrow. This will be my 3rd master cleanse. I'm going for 12 days, because I must be able to eat on the 4th of July. :P

    Well I have been working with the lax tea and the SWF, it finally worked a bit for me yesterday. I think I have been eating too much meat and dairy because I am just not going at all. Oh well I am starting today. I go home in an hour and then I will do the lax tea and start the lemonade tonight when I get up for work. One thing different that I am going to do is use agave nectar today. I don't have the syrup and the MC site says that agave is ok to use. Wish me luck!

    hello all, i am a newbie and i have been lurking on this site for....ahem years... so i decided to quit reading and actually join.

    today is my first day of my master cleanse and i plan to do the 21 day cleanse. i have done it twice before and i admit the first FOUR days were hard because i am a self proclaimed addict(all things greezy and cheezy lol) but i eventually made it through and i felt and looked better. my skin was clear, my body felt better on the inside, but the funniest side effect were my food porn dreams!!!

    one day i had a dream(during the first cleanse) that someone had just ordered the pizza and were about to eat it. i decided that i wasnt going to eat it because i was cleansing and i was doing so well. as soon as they left the kitchen and entered the living room, i crouched between the stove and fridge and ATE THE WHOLE PIZZA, FOIL AND ALL!!!!!!!

    i laughed so hard at my dream because i realize how addicted i was to bad bad food. now i am way more conscious of what i eat and i am ready to begin another journey.

    new life, new love, new job, new heights all happening at once.

    day one,
    5am went to the gym worked out really hard and sat in the sauna for about thirty minutes(this ALWAYS loosens my insides up. got home and my stomach was "cooking" from my work out and i drank two bottles of water and mixed in my sea salt i cant stand the salty taste so i HAVE to increase the water to salt ratio. of course it tasted like POISON but i closed my eyes and downed it. its 8:39 and i have gone twice already, but all is well, its normal day one stuff!

    Day 2

    I know things are hardest the first couple days. Yesterday was kinda hard. But I kept telling myself if I cave and eat a burrito today I'll just restart tomorrow and have lost a day. Today isn't too bad. Being at work keeps me busy. I'm mostly worried about the weekend, when I have lots of time to myself. I love to eat on the weekends.

    What I find crazy though is I weighed myself about 4 days ago, in the evening. I weighed myself this morning and I've lost 8 pounds. I'm thinking my scale must be broken. Granted I did pig out on the day I weighed myself, but really 8 pounds in 2 days on the MC, thats a record for me. The second time I MC i lost about 10 lbs total.

    Oh and a side note. People always ask about keeping the weight off. The previous 2 times I did the MC I was able to keep all the weight off. After the first time I gave up HFCS, red meat, then slowly pork. And I was eating much healthier in general. I did gain some weight this spring, but that was because of finals and personal issues. So I'm MCing again to get a fresh start on the summer and eliminate those HFCS cravings (i was eating garbage during finals)

    Day 5

    I'm doing fine. Haven't really had any cravings. I occasionally keep thinking about a burrito, but thats b/c I miss my weekly burrito. Who am I kidding, my twice weekly super burrito. But I don't wanna eat it, but I miss the routine - Burrito, wine, Law & Order.

    However, the boredom is starting to set in. I like the lemonade but I miss variety. My face is breaking out and my tongue is white. I did feel a bit dizzy earlier but I just drank more lemonade and I was fine.

    im going to start tomorrow. I just finished up my tea. my boyfriend is doing it with me. I'm not sure how long we will last. because we both have oral fixations. I sure hope i can atleast get to three days.

    I was toying with doing the Master Cleanse or a simple Juice Fast, and ultimately I ended up with the MC!

    I starrted Monday night with the laxative tea Monday night, and now I'm on Day 2. So far so good, I'm feeling good, no missing food too much.

    I'm not a fan of the SWF, I find it makes me bloated/water logged but I'm going to try to keep a positve attitude and attempt it with warm water in the morning.

    Good luck! I did it back in March before my wedding, and I'm hoping to start another one soon to better transition into vegetarian eating.

    I tried the MC about 3 yrs ago, at a time when I wasn't working out regularly. now I work out about 5/6 days a week. Question: Can you workout during the cleanse? I mean weights and all( running, eliptical). I don't want to stop my routine because it will set me back ( weaker)once off the MC.

    I don't think its a good idea. In my understanding, the body needs protein to rebuild after workouts and the MC doesn't provide any protein. So you'd be doing more harm than good and possibly breaking down your muscle tissue. For more info, search the Curezone master cleanse forum. For activity try going for walks and doing yoga or stretching.

    Well, I finally made up my mind to do this again...I have all my supplies but this time I'm going to try using magnesium citrate instead of the swf I hate drinking that salt water! Just the memory of drinking that water made me put off the entire cleanse so hopefully I get the same results using the mag-citrate...wish me the best I'll update ya'll tomorrow, I'm starting the fast today.

    Thanks to all the ladies who have given their advice. I have been lurking in here forever and finally started the cleanse. Today is day 5.

    Can I ask you all a question? Is it me or does it seem like EVERYONE wants you to eat, as soon as you decide to fast. I have had 4 dinner ,1 lunch, and 1 BBQ invitation to turn down in 5 days !! I'll be ok though...

    I have been documenting my daily progress in my fotki. Feel free to stop by when you get a chance :-) I need encouragement right now because I feel like trading my basket of lemons for a baby back rib!
