    drinking salt water flushes in the morning..., but letting loose...

    It's Day 6 and I'm still going strong. My only issue is that my teeth are extra sensitive now. I think it's all that acidic lemon juice. I'm drinking through a straw now to try to lessen the effects. Does anyone have another tip to relieve the sensitivity?

    not yet, only day two, i'll make sure to look out for that

    oh, do the food cravings ever go away, or do you have really strong will power?

    day one for me. but ive been going to the bathroom for TWO FRIGGIN DAYS now cause i have seriously upped my fiber content all last week. everyday i had oatmeal then saturday and sunday i had grits. now this senna tea and i cant stop going!!

    lizzes, maybe you can also try following the lemonade with some water? i've never had that problem...

    second day and im feel irie!!! i did oil pulling this morning too so i dont know if that helped appease my appetite. it was very different though. but i lost 3 pounds of water weight which is great for me, im going out tonight and need to look cute :P

    i read the master cleanse booklet on pdf and what it said about getting your nutrients from the lemons and maple syrup, but when i went to gnc to buy some probiotics for when i end it, the lady who works there said she was concerned about the nutrients and protein i was getting in my diet on this cleanse. i told her what the regemine was, and she feels lemons and maple syrup alone arent adequate enough to give the body all of the vitamins and nutrients it needs daily.

    has any one else wondered about the effects of going ten days with out real nutrients in protein in their system?

    to add, i feel confident about continuing the cleanse, but i am mindful of the effects it can have on my system like losing muscle mass and such. i had asked her what cleanse she thought was better, but she claims this cleanse is okay she was just concerned about being on it for such a long time (10 whole days). and recommends i do it from five to seven days instead of ten.
    by the way, she says she a nutritionist so i kind of heeded her words more seriously.

    Tomorrow is Day 10 for me. The time has flown by so fast.

    SabrinaMF - I know of other people who have gone longer than 10 days with no problems. I talked to a friend today who did 40 days and 20 days respectively last year. I belive I could continue for more than 10 days, but I made plans to do things next week. I want to end the cleanse this week and ease back into solid food before I start socializing again.

    i went 17 days without a problem. i felt great in fact and suffered NO ill effects. she's a nutritionist, but you have to understand that many of them feel that if something has not be scrutinized to death by scientists in some lab, then it's wrong. this is my 5th time doing the cleanse and all is well.

    but you have to do what works for you. i guarantee if you went into whole foods right now and asked someone about doing the cleanse they would be very helpful (well, this one person that i spoke to about it before in there was)

    i have a friend of the family that had to stop work because he got a pacemaker, then on top of that he got this incredibly high blood pressure. the doctors couldnt do anything but medicate him, and the meds made him so slugging he could barely do anything. i recommended the cleanse to him, and lo and behold, his pressure got under control and he is off his meds.

    hmmm

    like i said, just try it and see if it works for you. if you ask a doctor or anyone in the medical field, believe me they will try to dissuade you from doing it.

    its day five for me, and from what i can tell it has been working greatly for me. and coming into the cleanse i realized that there is nothing but great benefits that come outof doing this but, after talking to her i was concerned about the negative effects i could be doing to myself in the long run, that are hard to detect directly in the beginning.

    im still contemplating if i should do the whole ten or stop on friday night, which would be day seven for me
    ive considerd that i was in pretty good shape on a pretty healthy diet and excercise plan prior to cleansing, and i figure i wouldnt need to go the total ten days, as compared to someone who lived a poor lifetstyle and fatty diet.

    are there any ill affects to stopping early and not forgoing to total ten days?

    i plan on finishing this one out and doing another one in the spring but differently.
    i was reading on the master cleanser site that you can take a liquid vitamins, or some people take wheatgrass for extra vitamins on the prolong cleanse. i might incorporate that next time

    it's so strange for me NOT to eat, but i really dont have a craving for anything. it's so weird. but the only think is making sure you drink enough lemonade so you don't get those hunger pains. but im going to finish this out!!! i need to do this for myself.

    i think i'm going to try a version of this. i will get the smooth move tea, try to find some organic lemons in charlotte, nc and purchase some cayenne pepper and maple syrup. if its too yucky, i don't know if i can make it go down. i might just try fasting on water and doing the smooth move and eating an apple in the morning. just trying to lose about 5 lbs before i head to cancun next sunday.

    i would just exercise and go on a diet to lose five pounds. master cleanse is more about detox and cleansing your digestive system, and weight loss is just a byproduct. and the weight you do lose on the cleanse you easily gain back if you dont eat right.

    what about doing it after you come back?

    I made it! I finished all 10 days with no issues other than my sensitive teeth. Even that got better as I progressed. Today, I am drinking the orange juice and soup to ease back into digesting food.

    I lost weight, but I don't know how much because I haven't weighed myself. I'm guessing maybe 5 pounds. I wore some pants that usually fit very comfortably, but they were a little loose yesterday. I had to keep pulling my shirt over them so they wouldn't slide down.

    I'm glad I could share my journey with you all. I will defintely do this again in about 6 months. I wish you all the best.

    I started last night. I had a full glass of lemonade at around 6pm and the laxative tea (smooth move) at around 9ish which woke me up at amlost 6 AM and made me feel like I was committing suicide lol. I managed to slip the salt water in sometime before seven and I really started thinking I was setting myself up for failure by doing this thing. But I plan on sticking thru. It's my first time around by the way. I've also been drinking alot of water and went for my first glass of lemonade for the day at 8. Will have the second one at 10 before I head to work at 11. My question is, do you mix your lemonade at work? I read somewhere that it wasn't a good idea to prepare a whole day's worth in advance. If so, how do u pack up all that stuff. I feel like it's alot to carry to work with me since I would have to bring enough for four glasses. Thank you ladies.

    what about two or three 32 oz bottle waters filled with lemonaid. i buy the bottled water and when they are empty i fill them with lemonaid for when i leave. ore use glass bottles, like a empty spaghetti jar, which last longer.

    it wasnt that big of a deal to prepare in advance in my case, worked just as well.

    Don't forget to get a vegetarian source of acidolphylus...

    are you really supposed to ttake ten the night you finish. that seems like a lot

    I read that take 10, i think its from curezone,...

    I made 2 or 3 - 32 ounce bottles in the morning. I added the cayenne right before I was going to drink. If the cayenne sits too long it becomes very hot. Then make more when I get home from work.

    Next time i do the cleanse i'm going to buy one of those cheap electric juicers. Squeezing lemons over an old school style juicer was way too much work. Especially when I was trying to drink 10 glasses a day.

    Cool so i guess preparing in advance is not a problem. Good to know. Today I ended up taking all the ingredients with me and mixed my drinks individually. It wasn't as time consuming as I expected it to be but I'd still rather have everything packed.

    My first day wasn't bad at all. I realized that I thought about food more than I was hungry. I'm really determined to complete this fast.

    Hey all. I'm back. Okay so about a month ago I stopped prematurely, but I think I'm ready to start again. I am going to start with the fruit flush at the end of the week and then start the MC on Monday the 8th.

    But this is the thing right... I think there is a problem with the tea I'm drinking. I think it's Yogi brand and I buy it from Whole Foods... and I know it has senna in it. But for some reason it wasn't getting the job done. I mean I would take that the night before and the saltwater in the morning and nothing.

    Any suggestions?
