    I am going on an interview with the same company that fired me but not at the same clinic, i gave may application to one of the nurses at another clinic (she worked at the clinic i was fired from we got along well) she encouraged me to give it to her she gave it and a good word to the director of the clinic ( 3 in all),he spoke to the dir of hum res and gave her the app, i am assuming since i am scheduled for interview, i am eligible for re-hire ? how do i interview for this position after being fired from another clinic by another director who is no longer with the company?

    same as any other interview.

    but i'd also suggest you be prepared to speak about what ever happened in the first place.

    Go in there like you own the place. be prepared to spill the beans. if the termination was due to your fault, they may not be interested. thre are always too sides to every story.

    first, DO NOT VOLUNTEER INFORMATION. reveal only if they ask about the other job and tread lightly when answering.

    when you reveal, do not rag on the other people. put everything in a positive light. and even then, don't give up too much. keep your answers short and succinct. they don't need a blow by blow. let them ask the question. only give up as much as you need to - you keep your cards close to your chest.

    whatever the circumstance of the termination, let them know you've learned from it and hope to positively move forward in your career.

    i would suggest writing down questions you think they might ask and writing your responses so you'll be prepared and not saying things on the fly.

    i've learned not to be too anxious to point negatives out. that's their job.

    your job is to promote yourself.
