    Personally, I haven't. I don't own hot rollers. However, I don't know if I want direct heat like that on my hair. Reminds me too much of the curling iron I used to burn my ears and forehead with. :P

    I don't think that direct heat would be a good idea. Now, it MAY work, but you can get the same result on your locs without the heat. Find a setting lotion and use either perm rods or sponge rollers. Those options are much healthier for your hair. I love curls, so feel free to look in my album, I have pics to show you how and the end results without heat!!

    Hot rollers work. I have done it once and once on twists. But it gives the same results as using satin rollers or perm rods. It just takes less time. I don't use setting lotion though. I generally don't use hot rollers because I don't own any. I used them at my parents house. Satin rollers are comfortable to sleep in.

    I did try that once. It worked just fine. I did it just to see if I could. Not to wear it all day. It wasn't an organized experiment.
