Not much to do for kids. But if walk towards Pentagon City there is a park right across the street from Pentagon City. You might want to see if you can visitor passes to go on a tour in the Pentagon. When are going to to CC? I supposed to out of town this weekend maybe we can meet up if I don't go. PM me.

are they too young to take them to Dc to see the monuments and stuff? If you go to Pentagon City Mall...there is a metro stop right there and it will take you straight o the monuments and to the Mall area...it's like a 10 min train ride....it' right across the bridge. good luck...feel free to pm me for more info...I'm from the area!

jazitones, i leave tomorrow evening. and i will be there until sunday morning. my husband wants to do the pentagon on saturday so we have that planned. but not much else. the park sounds good though. they can run themselves tired instead of running me crazy, lol.

caramelma, that sounds like a plan. they are 2 1/2 yrs old and 18 months. so they would like the train ride. well mostly just being around other people, lol. shoot we could ride the train all day and they would be satisfied. they just don't like staying in a hotel room all day long.

    thanks ladies

There's plenty to do in D.C. -- the zoo, plenty of museums. Plus a lot of areas in VA are having Octoberfest or other fall fairs and stuff.

My husband's grandmother passed away last night and we are leaving ti go out of town by thursday. I plan to be back by Saturday.

Another place that they might enjoy is watching the Airplanes taking off and landing. You can see the planes from Crystal Drive.

mm but your kiddies are young. they would enjoy the scenic part of riding on the local streets in boat on top of a car thingy and you can enjoy yourself as well.

I agree with what everyone said. I live in that area and like they said, not really all that much for kids. The zoo and the museums are nice though.

oooh that sounds nice. i guess i should rephrase the question. what can i do that will tire these kids out. if i had a lot of stuff planned to do like walking to the pentagon, the park, getting on a train...etc. all the activity will tire them out. which is what i want because i want to thoroughly enjoy the sleep number bed at night. lol
