I make a deep conditioner with it. I recommend not shaking the can before you open it: Just use the solids that are at the top of the can. Scoop that out and discard the rest of the stuff in the can. This makes for a thicker conditioner.

Since you're supposed to use the coconut milk within a couple weeks, I freeze mine in an ice cube tray. For my deep conditioner, I use 2 "ice blocks" of the coconut milk, 2 tablespoons of honey, one tablespoon of olive oil, and a nice squirt of whatever commercial conditioner you like. The last ingredient is optional, but I do it because I like the smell.

Apply it all over your hair. Put on a plastic cap, and let it sit for 30 minutes or more. Rinse.

Yup I use the Coconut Milk but I use the Barts UHT type available from Tesco for about àƒ‚à‚£1.00 or less.
I heat that up and add it to the rhassoul condish cubes and stir (I love the smell of hot Coconut melting the rhassoul condish cubes made with Unrefined Cocoa Butter - yummy!).
I use this as a monthly deep condish detox mud - leave it in for 20 to 30 mins. then rinse.
Leaves my hair soft and tangle free.

RHASSOUL COCONUT MILK this is really good stuff.

I tried it on saturday and my hair felt smooth, soft , managable , shiny and moisturised.
And it's still moisturised 2 days after . This is GREAAT . I didn't even add anything else after this deep condition . I will wait and see if the moisture lasts all week.
The thing is that I massage the scalp(10 minutes) after applying the rhassoul mixture, left
for 1 hour then rinsed. There's no need to apply anything else.
Can this deep condition be done once week (SHULTA) .

    I'm glad you like it.

Yes it can - when I first made the condish I used it as a mid-week condish - like on a Wednesday - I didn't need to add anything else to my hair at all. This was great in the spring & summer because I didn't always feel like adding more Goodies to my hair.

What I might think about doing is offerring Rhassoul Condish Blocks that way you can use as much or as little as you need, when you need to & store the rest in a dark dry cool place.

If anyone is planning to use the block of creamed coconut it needs to be sieved before applying to hair unless you want to be picking fibres of coconut out of your hair for the rest of the evening like I have tonight

I heat that up and add it to the rhassoul...

after reading this forum, i went onto www.anitagrant.com and got soooo excited looking at all the products! i've been nappy for almost 10 years now but i've had NO guidance and i figured i just had to live with brittle hair. this year, i want to try new, naturally-based products that will nourish and moisturize my hair. plus, i have a daughter ... i have to become a PRO at being nappy so she can grow up loving it too!

so ... i order a sampler that included two of the rhassoul condish cubes, the lemon whipped butter for hair and skin and the lip balm ... as well as a couple of fruit oil samples and a peppermint babassu shampoo bar sample! i'm psyched!

now, as a girl from the ole U S of A ... where's the best place to buy some coconut milk or cream i can use to melt down my condish cubes?

    ...

Most grocery stores (including Walmart) carry coconut milk & coconut cream (don't bother with the coconut water). It's usually in the baking aisle or the Spanish foods aisle. You can also find it at any Caribbean or Asian market.

It was my own silly fault I think it says on the packet to sieve for coconut milk, I normally crumble it into rice so didn't know how bitty it is, I also had mashed banana on my hair so their were stringy bits of that to dislodge too

I saw a vid on YT using this by thatgirrl5. She used this on her daughter's hair and the results were great.

So this weekend, I'm going to experiement me some.

I think it's going to be like this:

    1 cup of coconut cream
1 raspberry rhassoul cube (I know I should use more with my hair...but I can't afford it at the mo...being a student SUCKS! )
Half a cup of coconut oil..

I'll melt the coconut cream and them sieve it before adding the rhassoul, because last time I used it I didn't know this and it made a mess of my hair with the bits. I was too busy picking them out to notice if it made any difference. I was also convinced that my hair smelt like off milk. In short, I wasn't feeling it.
    We'll see...
